    I am a student who passed out in 1980 and school was such an integral part of my life especially since I lived right next door. I must have been one of the few that actually got caned by Mrs Mendonca for slipping out to the riverside ever so often. Took my son there a few years ago when he was around 6 years and Oh it was so beautiful. The tamarind orchard, the pathway to the river strewn with gulmohar flowers all the way. The steps, serene calm ,the sun positioned just above the yerwada bridge. He loved it and made it clear how much when he said" Mom can we not take this school to Bombay, then I can go to it too". Thank you Mrs Kolatkar and Mrs Gamesan for teaching me not just Marathi and Maths, but so much more, for being so selfless about bringing us to be above average students. Mrs Lemos, Mrs D'souza, Mrs Berry, love you all so much, I sincerely hope we can meet again.... In the meantime hope this message reaches you.

    I agree that this petrol station indulges in malpractice. They will either bil you on the petrol as suggested, or will try and over-bill you by distracting you, if you have indicated that you are making a card payment. Modus operandi is that one guy will distract you by asking about card details and the other guy will promptly stop dispensing petrol and reset the meter and quote some price that is higher than the actual cost of dispensed petrol. They have done this time and again. So basic dishonesty amongst the petrol pump attendants is endemic in this pump. AVOID if you can.
