    This is the oldest cinema hall of Pune which is still dedicatedd to screening of Marathi films. This theater was founded 70 years back by reknowned Prabhat Film Co.and is an eyewitness of many Golden and Silver Jubilee films in Marathi. It is still running very successfully with the same glamour 70 years back and has achived a status of Temple for Marathi film Industry. It is one of the Pune's pride.

    I had earlier visited Inderbhai at his flat on 4th Flr C Building when the buildings A & B were non existing. Recently, when i visited Indrajeet at his flat in Shantivihar, I was amazed to see all the AB&C buildings standing tall n fully occupied. But the worst thing is, this beautiful apartment, once located in a serene location is now surrounded by highrise buildings covering up the natural beauty of Bavdhan valley. The building which we earlier saw sitting at "Up & Above", now can't be seen until you reach the Vigyan nagar access lane on NDA Pashan Rd. But whatever & wherever it may be, I still love the place compared to any other area in PUNE.
