    It is April and the Mahatma Society is full of flowers. Look at the trees and you can find the gulmohars in bloom red,yellow;the katchampas-white and pink and yellowish;the Rusty shield Bearers with yellowish flowers and brownish bottoms;the magenta,yellow,purple bougainvilleas;and a host of others.The mangoes are there on some trees.The big lucky bird with brown and black wings and red eyes is seen and heard.The cuckoos are cooing.A variety of other birds are frolicking around.It is the spring season merging in to the summer.Rakesh Kumar J,M.Sc.LLB
